Last night, I was going to make a long post about my 2012 year but I decided against it. Haha.
They say that pictures speak a thousand words, so here are pictures from (almost?) every month of
adventures from the past year.
JANUARY
My parents and little sister went to the Philippines for the month so I had to make my way to work on foot. (Look! Frozen Eyebrows!)
My daily view as I walk to and from work |
I finished a week-long Daniel Fast.
I also finished a weekend-long concert and on the last day, I got my first picture ever with a band member. =D |
FEBRUARY
Nothing much happened in February.. I did get a buzz cut after a years of having hair longer than this one though!
MARCH
I just celebrated my birthday this month.
APRIL
I got my acceptance letter from the only college that I've applied to. This was the most bittersweet letter I've received. It was bitter because receiving this letter, for me meant that I had to leave my then church and help my parents plant(?) a church. Sweet because well, I got accepted into college! The first of many steps into answering and fulfilling God's call for my life. |
MAY
The most memorable for me this month was meeting Paul Baloche and his band, Phil Wickham, and Sean McDowell |
JUNE-AUGUST
The summer months consisted of hanging out with friends, my very first road trip with friends without family, and learning how to boat. Great summer! |
SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER
DEFINITELY the best four months of the year! September-December marked my first semester as a college student and even better, a BIBLE COLLEGE STUDENT. I was pondering about it the other day and realized that for some reason, even back when college was the least of my worries, I've always wanted to become a Bible college student and now that I am, just genuinely blows me away! These past 4 months consisted of:
- Taking my first steps into Vanguard College
- Meeting my white brotha' from anutha motha (CUJO!!!)
- Experiencing a week-long class and ended up making a new friend (My ginger bro, love you man!)
- Making lots of lifelong friends
- Filling up a car with balloons
- Surviving a near-death experience
- Dressing up and looking good for the first time in many, many months
- TONS OF PAPERS
- A few but indeed very memorable sleepovers
- Seeing God's Grace and accepting His call and will for my life
I CANNOT WAIT FOR WHAT IS AHEAD IN THE FOLLOWING YEAR! God has shown me endless times this year that HE IS faithful, that HE IS loving, that HE IS gracious, that HE IS divine, that HE WILL never leave His people nor forsake them, that HE IS GOD. MY GOD. MY SAVIOR. MY KING.
